What you’ll need:
- Mason jar
- Cheesecloth
- Rubberband
- Mug/Cup
- Water
- Tablespoon
- Spoon
- Your favorite ground Cafe Leyenda coffee, like the Columbian Blend, ground to a coarse grind size
Water to coffee ratio:
- 4 tablespoon coarse ground coffee per 6 fluid ounce water (20 gram per 180 milliliter)
Instructions:
- Add the coarse ground coffee. Use 4 Tbsp (22 g) of coffee for each cup (6 fl oz, 180 ml).
- Add water into the jar. Carefully pour water into the jar, then give the grounds a swirl to thoroughly wet them.
- Cover the jar. Cover the Mason jar with a cheesecloth and secure it with a rubber band.
- Let the coffee steep. Leave your coffee for 12 hours. Enjoy waking up to a perfectly concentrated brew.
- Separate the coffee from the grounds. Strain the coffee into a pitcher by pouring it through a cheesecloth.
- Add water, ice & you’re good to go. Pour one part concentrate with one part water into a glass with fresh ice, and enjoy your coffee at home! (Adjust the flavor of your cup to your preferred taste by adding more or less water. Give your cold brew a twist by serving it with a touch of cream, coconut milk or seltzer.)

Have some brew left over? Freeze it into ice cubes for a ready-made treat on a hot day.
